We made it to Provo!

We finally made it to Provo after a long 23 hour drive on Saturday, August 13th around 3:00 am. Before we made it to our new apartment, I made arrangements to move in early with the apartment manager. We did not think that we were going to make it into town until Sunday and stay with some friends before our move in date on Monday the 15th. We were wrong. We made great time and figured we would arrive early Satruday morning. We were SOOOO happy that we could move in on Saturday so would not have to spend money on a hotel.

When we first arrived at our apartment, we had to find a place to park our UHaul truck. Let me just tell you now. There are absolutely NO places to park in Provo, especially without a parking pass. After driving around the block a few times with a huge truck and a noisy trailor at 3:30 in the morning, we just decided to park the truck in a tow zone. We just wanted to sleep.

Once we opened the door to our new place, we threw our suitcases on the floor, turned the lights off, and passed out. When 7 am came around, it felt like we hadn't even slept at all. We woke up and headed down to the parking lot to start unloading. It took us about two hours to get everything in. Garrett and Zach took no time at all to drive that UHaul and trailor the dropoff to turn it in. We are never doing THAT again.
