Road Trip to Utah continued:

Well we are back on the road again. Yesterday we drove all the way from Atlanta, GA to Kansas City, MO. After our long day driving we decided to stop for the night in Kansas City. This little town was sooo cute and   had a lot of cute buildings and shops. We were hoping to walk around the town but it was too late once we checked into the hotel and parked our u-haul. Parking that thing is such a pain. Zach and Garrett had to take the car off the trailer just to park it.

This morning we woke up and headed for the road around 6:00am. Once we got out of Missouri we reached Kansas. Let me just tell you that the drive from Kansas to Denver is the LONGEST drive ever! In Kansas we felt like the storm chasers on t.v. because the whole trip we were trying to out run a huge thunderstorm. It was really cool watching the storm come in but at the same time I was hoping that we wouldn't see any tornadoes. Other then chasing storms nothing else really happened.

Here are some pictures of the Kansas drive:

I just love these sun flowers! I was so tempted to jump out of the car and steel them from the farmers!

After we finally got out of Kansas we made it to Colorado! Colorado is beautiful! It was so much fun driving through the different areas especially Denver. I am so happy that we decided to take the Denver route rather than driving through Nebraska and Wyoming. I just don't think I would have survived any more long boring roads with not much to look at. Well anyways Denver was so much fun. We loved going through the tunnels and driving through the mountains!

It is now 9:30 pm and we are still on the road! We are hoping to get to Provo tonight by around midnight! We are so ready to be out of the car and be at our apartment! We thought that we would not be able to move in until the 15th but we called them today and they said we could move in tonight! We are excited! Tomorrow we will spend our day unpacking the truck and also returning the u-haul!!! YAY!!! No more u-hauls!
