It's Fall, It Feels Like Winter, and We LOVE It!

Well Fall is finally here even though in Utah it feels like Winter!! A couple of days a go it snowed for the first time in the mountains and both Garrett and I were sooo excited! I know that in a month we will change our minds about this weather but for now I am so happy that I can actually wear boots other then flip flops in October! Garrett and I love living out here and have been having fun doing things we don't normally get to do.

A couple of weeks ago, Emory, Garrett's brother called us to see if we wanted his tickets to the BYU vs. UCF game. Of course Garrett and I said we wanted to go to the game! We were so excited to be able to go to our first BYU game. (Thanks Emory!) Since we live right next to the stadium all we had to do was walk a couple of blocks down the road to get there! It was so nice not having to deal with traffic and parking! Once we got to our seats the weather began to get colder and colder outside. It was so nice being able to sit and watch a football game without the 100 degree weather! We had so much fun watching the game against UCF! Since UCF is from Florida it felt like we were really not that far away from our Florida home!

Here are some pictures from the night:

Garrett almost got kicked out for wearing a Miami Dolphins hat.

Another exciting thing we got to do that we don't normally get to is that we got to go to General Conference
for church in Salt Lake City. General Conference is where members of our church gather together twice a year to listen to church leaders speak on a variety on topics. Garrett and I were so excited that we actually got to go to conference instead of watching it on t.v. like we normally do. It was such a great experience!

Here is a talk by President Deiter F. Uchtdorf that I really enjoyed:

Another fun thing about being in Provo is that we get to hang out with friends all the time. We live in the same appartment complex as one of my bestest friends and her husband and her brother and his wife, Caylie, so we get to get togehter alot with them! Whether we are just getting together to have dinner or to carve pumkins we always have a great time!

Here are some pictures:

I'm glad Garrett is so artistic. If it was up to me this little pumpkin would have looked way too scary!

He wishes he looked this good.

I crocheted this scarf! Yes I know what you are thinking... Brittiany crocheting?? Yep!I didn't think I was able to learn something like this, but YouTube was very helpful. I was ADDICTED!  My next project is a beanie with a flower on it! Can you tell I'm SOOO excited about this coldweather?

Garrett has been playing on a flag football team this season and he is loving it.. and so am I! I love being able to go sit outside in the nice weather to watch his practices and games. Most of the time Jordi, Caylie and I get really distracted because we talk too much and forget we are at supposed to be watching their games. The guys don't know this and we keep it a secret.

Here are some pictures:

He's wearing my sweatpants thank you very much.
