Our 2011 Halloween Party

For Halloween this year, Jordan, Caylie and I decided to plan a costume party for all of our friends. Finally, after a couple of weeks of planning and shopping for decorations, the day of the party arrived! On Saturday, we met up around noon to decorate and set up. Let me just tell you this "lounge" at our apartment complex needed a LOT of work, but thanks to Pinterest, it turned out better than we thought.

We spent the whole afternoon transforming this awful room with a Halloween theme using cobwebs, candles, and balloons. After that was done, all of us rushed home to go cook the food and put on our costumes.

Garrett and I looked everywhere for costumes and just could not find any that weren't crazy expensive. So after looking everywhere, we found a gorilla mask for about two dollars and decided to snatch it before anyone else took it. We then tried to think of what I could be. We went with the whole "gorilla" theme, and I decided to be a safari girl. I already had a dress in my closet that I could use for a costume, so it worked out perfectly.

We had so much fun that night with everyone, and I was so happy that Garrett and I actually got a chance to dress up this year!

Here are some photos from that night (thanks Caylie)!
